How to Cure Gonorrhea Naturally without Antibiotics?
Another dreaded venereal disease is gonorrhea. It is an inflammatory disease affecting the mucous membrane of the urethra in the male and that of the vagina in the female. It also spreads to other parts of the body. It is a disease peculiar to the dissolute persons who are not choosy about their sexual partners and contract the disease on sexual contact.
There is intense irritation of the urethra, scalding pain on passing urine with which a yellow viscid discharge comes out. The glands in the groin are inflamed and even start suppurating. Even the testicle in the males and the ovaries in the females may become affected. If the inf1ammation of the urethra is not checked, it may lead to the formation of fibrous tissue around the channel leading to its narrowing and great difficulty in passing urine. The poisons of gonorrhea may spread to the joints of the body and even the heart may become affected. It may also lead to conjunctivitis and, in newly born infants, to blindness.
The course of the disease among the females is slightly different; a yellow discharge issues out of the vagina, the urine is painful and the glands near the mouth of the vagina are inflamed. If the inflammation spreads to the uterus, the fallopian tubes and the ovaries, there may be permanent damage. The enveloping membrane of the abdomen the peritoneum, may become inflamed with fatal results.
Natural Cures and Remedies for Gonorrhea:
The remedies indicated for dysurea will help in cases of gonorrhea, but only in the primary stages. The following remedies are recommended for the malady:
Ten grams each of Ceylon Cardamom (large Cardamom) seeds and Nitre should be powdered together and six grams of it taken twice daily with water. Alternatively, 20 grams of Red Ochre (Geru) and 10 grams of Alum should be ground fine and mixed with an equal weight of raw Sugar. Six grams of the mixture should be taken in .the morning with water in which Phala Bark (Grewia Asiatica) has been steeped overnight. Or, 40 grams of Resin is finely ground, mixed with an equal quantity of raw Sugar, and taken in four grams doses thrice daily with milk.
The patient should take complete rest and not ride horses or other forms of transport where the posterior comes in contact with a hard seat. Hip baths in hot water are helpful. Intake of liquids should be stepped up. The urethra should be flushed with a solution of potassium permanganate (1:3,000) with the help of a syringe which may be kept in the urethra for five minutes before its contents are allowed to come out.
